I STARTED MY HEALTH JOURNEY...

My whole life I have suffered from gastro problems,  fatigue, acne, and dark circles under my eyes. I thought it was normal to be extremely bloated after dinner, because that is how I'd always felt.

But after traveling through South East Asia for two months, through countries that avoid gluten and prioritize fresh ingredients, I felt like a different person. I lost weight, had a tremendous amount of energy, finally enjoyed a flat belly and my skin looked amazing.

Ever since, I have fallen in love with the world of health and wellness.

My Family


Children learn from their parents. If you want your kids to be healthy you have to model healthy behaviors. In our house, our kids don't eat perfectly healthy all the time, but we offer balanced and nutritious choices (that's as much as you can do, right?)

To encourage an adventurous palate, we include the children in the cooking process. Some of my boys' favorite activities are juicing, making kombucha and skewering veggie and steak shish kabobs. I always encourage my boys to get their hands dirty in our garden and they love gathering eggs from our chickens. 

And of course they always beg for my morning glass of Shakeology, which is a glass of dense botanicals from all over the world. Fill your plate with color, your glass with nutrition and your home with joy.

To ensure that I am a good momma, I wake up an hour early every day and dive into personal development and exercise. I work out my mind and body EVERY DAY before my kids wake up, so I can get my whole body ready for the job of being a mommy and a teacher. 

My twins hold me accountable by asking if I have exercised each day. Just 30 minutes daily of strength training, lifting weights and cardio have gotten me in the best shape of my life!

Through Beachbody I have access to hundreds of workouts online, and I simply can't get enough. My favorite is PIYO, which is a combo of pilates and yoga, but super amped up, getting your heart pounding and bootie toned.

I also love the 21 Day Fix & 21 Day Fix Extreme, because for the first time in my life I was lifting weights with confidence. Two years into my journey, my all time favorite program is called 80 Day Obession and I feel like a warrior! And I do it all from home, don't pay a fancy gym membership or have to commute to a gym, and get it done EVERY DAY. No momma guilt here!

My ComMitment

From taking nature walks along the trails, to making a healthy dinner, our family is super active. We never sit still! 

To be super energetic for my family, I exercise EVERY DAY for 30 minutes, eat clean and not more than I need, drink an awesome nutrient packed drink called Shakeology and inspire women to do the same. Doing these essential things are my secret weapon to being an amazing mom who does it all!

Health & Happiness

I started my journey in 2016 and have fallen in love with the world of health & fitness. It's amazing when something grabs ahold of you and you never want to let go! I like to think of myself as an evangelist for wellness. 

What does it mean to be well? Words that come to mind are grounded, healthy, strong and well rested. I strive  to be focused while at work, and to be a good mom when I am home for my family. I am confident in who I am as a woman, and enjoy how I look and feel.

I also want to help other people live fully and practice healthy living every day. As a Beachbody Coach, I want to help you push play everyday, eat healthier and be the best version of you.

MY WHY

I am healthy for my family. I exercise so I can give them my ALL. We want to set the standard for our family with healthy choices everyday. I want to be active with my energetic kids. And I want to be strong like my hot husband. I want to wake up everyday with a smile on my face and feel good in my own skin. Live fully for your now, but also for your future self. 

If you want to see my WHY, then this little video encompasses it! My family is my why. I want to be the best version of me, both physically, mentally and spiritually, so I can essentially be the best momma and wife possible. My friend Davina came and stayed at our house for a weekend and documented us just being us. Enjoy.
